1. The service
PhotoForUSA (“we”) provides an online tool that helps you prepare photos for passports, visas and other identity documents according to published official requirements. We are an independent company and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any government agency.
2. Your responsibilities
- Use a recent photo of the actual applicant and don’t alter facial features. Our tool only crops, straightens, resizes, adjusts the background and compresses the file.
- Check the requirements with the issuing authority before you apply — rules can change and officers have final discretion.
- Only upload photos you have the right to use.
3. Purchases
Prices are shown before checkout. Payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, which may add applicable taxes. A purchase unlocks the final files for one document type on the device and browser you used, including unlimited retakes and re-downloads for 30 days.
4. Acceptance & refunds
We cannot guarantee that an authority will accept a photo, because acceptance depends on factors outside our control (such as the original photo’s lighting, expression or the officer’s judgement). Refunds are handled under our refund policy.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service — for example by attempting to bypass payment, interfering with the site, or using it to create fraudulent identity documents.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the purchase in question. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
